      The Senate Economic Growth Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 4677.

      As reported, this bill requires an electric public utility to notify, in each billing cycle in which a Residential Universal Bill Credit is applied, a residential customer that the bill credit has been applied to the customer’s bill statement for that billing cycle and of the amount of the bill credit.  Under the bill, the notification is to be included as language written and displayed conspicuously on the first page of a customer’s bill statement.
