SENATE, No. 3748

with committee amendments

      The Senate Transportation Committee reports favorably and with committee amendments Senate Bill No. 3748.

      As amended and reported, this bill includes Burlington County as a member county of the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA).  The bill also changes the composition of the Board of Commissioners of the SJTA (board) by adding new members to the board.  Under current law, the SJTA includes Atlantic, Cape May, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties within its transportation development and planning scope as member counties.

COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS:

      The committee amended the bill to make technical changes.
