STATEMENT

This bill requires health insurance carriers (including insurance companies, health, hospital, and medical service corporations, and health maintenance organizations) to reimburse a health care provider that provides a vaccine at a rate that is no less than the vaccine’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) cost per dose rate pursuant to the CDC vaccine price list.  The CDC cost per dose rate is to be the rate in effect on the date the vaccine was provided.
