with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: JUNE 30, 2026

      These floor amendments revise the effective date and make language changes in sections 2, 3, and 5 of the bill, which are:

      1)   replacing “controller” with “data broker or data collector”;

      2)   replacing “identifying information” with “data”;

      3)   replacing “data controller with “data collector”

      4)   replacing “possesses” with “sells or licenses”;

      5)   replacing “processing” with “selling or licensing”;

      6)   replacing “personal” with “sensitive”; and

      7)   moving the placement of “including a controller.”
