      The Assembly Regulated Professions Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 2474.

      This bill includes the title “Nurse” among the titles, designations, or abbreviations that a person is prohibited by law to use unless the person is licensed as a professional nurse, practical nurse, registered nurse, or advanced practice nurse under P.L.1947, c.262 (C.45:11-23 et seq.) or P.L.1991, c.377 (C.45:11-45 et al.).

      This bill was prefiled for introduction in the 2026-2027 session pending technical review.  As reported, the bill includes the changes required by technical review, which has been performed.
