with Assembly Floor Amendments

      These Assembly floor amendments revise the reporting requirements under the bill to require the Commissioner of Education, rather than the Executive Director of the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority, to prepare and issue an annual report to the Governor and the Legislature. The floor amendments authorize the commissioner to collect such information from school districts, charter schools, and the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority as is necessary to produce the report.
