      The Assembly Appropriations Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 1830.

      As reported, this bill removes language from statutory law that states that a new license would not be issued to an ambulatory care facility, proposing relocation, to provide surgical and related services unless the relocation is within 20 miles of the facility’s current location or the relocation is to a “Health Enterprise Zone.”
