with Senate Floor Amendments

(Proposed by Senator SMITH)

ADOPTED: DECEMBER 18, 2025

      These floor amendments to the bill:

      (1) revise the definition of “construction material” to exclude road surface materials and hazard, caution, or traffic signs, signage, markings, or symbols; and

      (2) provide an exemption from the bill’s provisions in the case that the use of plastic construction materials with the requisite amounts of postconsumer recycled content would cause structural integrity issues in the construction project.
