      These floor amendments remove the penalty of imprisonment not exceeding 30 days for installing or modifying an exhaust system or muffler of a motor vehicle in a manner which amplifies or increases the audible sound emitted by the motor, exhaust system, or muffler above that emitted by the motor, exhaust system, or muffler as originally installed on the vehicle.
