An Act amending P.L.2025, c.74, the Fiscal Year 2026 annual appropriations act, to 1[clarify] reassign1 the distribution of certain State aid for local government services.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

      1.   The following line item in section 1 of P.L.2025, c.74, the annual appropriations act for State Fiscal Year 2026, is amended to read as follows:

 

22 DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS

70 Government Direction, Management, and Control

75 State Subsidies and Financial Aid

 

STATE AID

                        (From General Fund:  $155,850,000)

                        (From Property Tax Relief Fund:  $789,213,000)

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

                                

 

     Amends Fiscal Year 2026 annual appropriations act to reassign distribution of certain State aid related to Ivy Hill Park from City of Newark to County of Essex.
