STATEMENT
This bill amends the annual appropriations act for State Fiscal Year 2026 to modify the authorized uses of certain State aid appropriated for the City of Newark. Specifically, the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations act provided $250,000 in State aid to the City of Newark for an Ivy Hill Park Community Center. The bill amends this line-item appropriation to instead authorize the use of these funds for general improvements to Ivy Hill Park. This bill does not increase appropriations in the Fiscal Year 2026 annual appropriations act.
