with committee amendments

      The Assembly Appropriations Committee reports favorably and with committee amendments Assembly Bill No. 6107.

      As amended, this bill supplements the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations act by providing an additional $250,000 in funding for the gubernatorial transition expenses of the Governor-Elect. This supplemental funding is in addition to the $400,000 already appropriated in the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations act for this purpose.  Accordingly, this bill provides that $650,000 in total funds would be available for the gubernatorial transition expenses of the Governor-Elect.

COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS:

      The committee amended the bill to provide the correct numeric budget code for the Department of the Treasury and to clarify that the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriation to the Department of the Treasury for “Gubernatorial Transition – Governor-Elect” is a special purpose appropriation.
