SYNOPSIS
Provides supplemental appropriation of $250,000 to Department of the Treasury for gubernatorial transition expenses of Governor-Elect.

A Supplement to the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, P.L.2025, c.74.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2025, c.74, the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, there is appropriated from the General Fund the following amount for the purpose specified:

70 Government Direction, Management, and Control
74 General Government Services
DIRECT STATE SERVICES
09-2050 Purchasing and Inventory

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill supplements the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations act by providing an additional $250,000 in funding for the gubernatorial transition expenses of the Governor-Elect. This supplemental funding is in addition to the $400,000 already appropriated in the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations act for this purpose. Accordingly, this bill provides that $650,000 in total funds would be available for the gubernatorial transition expenses of the Governor-Elect.
