ASSEMBLY, No. 5987

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

      The Assembly Appropriations Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 5987.

      As reported, this bill amends the annual appropriations act for State Fiscal Year 2026 to clarify the distribution of certain Community Resources funding.  Currently, the annual appropriations act for State Fiscal Year 2026 appropriates $25,000 to American Legion Post 46.  However, this American Legion Post is not located in New Jersey. 

      To correct this error, the bill reassigns distribution of these funds to American Legion Post #346 located in Neptune Township, New Jersey.
