      The Assembly Commerce, Economic Development and Agriculture Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 5545.

      This bill would authorize a soil conservation district to have more than five supervisors.  Under the bill, the State Soil Conservation Committee would be authorized to determine the maximum number of supervisors for each district.  Current law authorizes five supervisors for each district, appointed by the State Soil Conservation Committee.
