      The Assembly Commerce, Economic Development and Agriculture Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 5422.

      This bill provides a business that is required to register with the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services (DRES) the option to receive email notifications from DRES and, as applicable, from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, concerning new statutory and regulatory requirements and economic incentives affecting industries in which the business operates, rather than receiving notices by paper or other form of communication.  The bill allows a business that opts to receive email notifications to later request cessation of email notifications and resumption of notice by paper or other means.
