ASSEMBLY, No. 4554

with Assembly Floor Amendments

      These Assembly floor amendments require the Department of Community Affairs to complete a survey and prepare a list identifying each downtown business improvement zone in the State, in addition to each special improvement district as previously required under the bill.  The amendments also require local ordinances that establish a downtown business improvement zone or special improvement district to clearly identify the physical area of the downtown business improvement zone or special improvement district, and require that related ordinances be filed with the Division of Local Planning Services in the Department of Community Affairs.  Lastly, the amendments changes the title and synopsis to reflect the changes to the bill.
