ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR

ASSEMBLY, No. 4222

with Assembly Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: DECEMBER 8, 2025

      The Assembly amendments provide that the establishment of the public awareness campaign under the bill will be contingent on the availability of funds.  The amendments revise the bill's effective date from the first day of the third month next following the date of the bill's enactment to July 1, 2027.  The amendments make a technical change concerning grammar.
