      The Assembly Regulated Professions Committee reports favorably and with committee amendments Assembly Bill No. 4150.

     As amended, this bill allows a licensed health care facility to be permitted to employ a certified or conditionally certified nurse aide (CNA) in the capacity of a personal care assistant.

COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS

      The committee amended the bill to clarify that conditionally certified nurse aides may work as personal care assistants.
