with committee amendments

      The Assembly Regulated Professions Committee reports favorably and with committee amendments Assembly Bill No. 4134.

     As amended, this bill requires that the homemaker-home health aide and nursing assistant certification examinations be made available in multiple languages.  The bill requires that at a minimum the certification examinations will be made available in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Tagalog.

COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS

      The committee amended the bill to expand the languages in which the examination for certification as a homemaker-home health aide or nursing assistant is offered.
