      These Senate floor amendments make this bill identical to S4050 (1R), which is also being amended on the Senate floor.  The amendments clarify that mental health and suicide crisis resources centers and 9-8-8 crisis hotline centers may place follow-up calls, texts, or chat messages to minors aged 16 years and older identified at high risk of health by suicide without the need for parental authorization to place such follow-up call, text, or chat message.  The amendments also makes technical corrections to the bill.
