SENATE, No. 3883

with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: DECEMBER 11, 2023

      Senate Bill No. 3883 (1R) requires the State Board of Education to authorize an alternate route to expedite teacher certification of persons employed as paraprofessionals in school districts.

      These Senate floor amendments include the American Federation of Teachers New Jersey as one of the representatives of the education community that the Commissioner of Education is to consult when developing the recommendations for the alternate route program.
