      The Senate Law and Public Safety Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 3513.

      As reported by the committee, this bill requires the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (Port Authority) to post information concerning the services available to the victims of human trafficking. 

     Specifically, this information would be posted in a conspicuous manner within the public restrooms of each airport operated by the Port Authority.  This information would be developed by the State of New York’s Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance or the United States Department of Homeland Security.

     This bill would not take effect until the State of New York has enacted into law legislation having an identical effect.
