     The Senate Commerce Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 3137 with committee amendments.

     This bill requires an animal and veterinary facility to post the prices charged for standard and emergency services provided by the facility both on an Internet website and in hard copies in the facility. A facility is required to post, in a conspicuous and clear manner, in the facility itself that hard copies of the list of prices are available for review.

COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS:

      The committee amended the bill to make it a requirement that an animal or veterinary facility provide a list of prices both on an Internet website and in hard copies in the facility and for the facility to post, in a conspicuous and clear manner, in the facility itself that hard copies of the list of prices are available for review.
