SYNOPSIS

     Requires mail-in ballot applications be available at polling places on election day for voting in future elections.

An Act concerning the availability of mail-in ballot applications at polling places and supplementing P.L.2009, c.79 (C.19:63-1 et seq.).

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    The County Clerk shall cause to be made available at each polling place on the day of any election copies of mail-in ballot applications for future elections.

 

     2.    This act shall take effect on the January 1 next following the date of enactment.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill requires mail-in ballot applications to be available at polling places on election day for voting in future elections. Under the bill, the County Clerk would make available at each polling place on the day of any election copies of mail-in ballot applications for future elections.
