SYNOPSIS

     Makes FY 2022 supplemental appropriation of $813,000 to DOH to implement electronic benefits transfer system for Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program.

A Supplement to the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, P.L.2021, c.133.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2021, c.133, the annual appropriations act for Fiscal Year 2021-2022, there is appropriated the following sum for the purpose specified:

 

46 DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

20 Physical and Mental Health

21 Health Services

The Department of Health shall utilize the funds hereinabove appropriated to implement the use of electronic benefit transfer cards by persons participating in the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program.

 

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately.
