      The Assembly Community Development and Affairs Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 1802.

      This bill makes a supplemental appropriation for fiscal year 2022 of $25 million to the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency to revitalize the Capital Improvement Assistance Program and provide physical improvement assistance to affordable housing properties that have suffered severe damage due to natural disasters and other emergent circumstances, such as Hurricane Ida in 2021.

      As reported by the committee, this bill is identical to Assembly Bill No. 3425, which was also reported by the committee on this date.
