STATEMENT TO

SENATE, No. 762

with Senate Floor Amendments

      These floor amendments specify that Director of the Division of Local Government Services in the Department of Community Affairs may establish the State fiscal year tax collection course, previously required under the bill, and makes various provisions of the bill contingent on the establishment of the course.  The floor amendments make additional technical changes, including updating a reference to institutions of higher education.
