This bill supplements the FY 2022 Appropriations Act with an additional net $71,786,000 in spending authority, reflecting supplemental appropriations of $71,808,000 and a de-appropriation of $22,000.
Department of Corrections:
This bill appropriates $11,000,000 in Grants-In-Aid funding for Purchase of Service for Inmates Incarcerated in County Penal Facilities due to delays in the transfer of inmates to State correctional facilities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Department of Environmental Protection:
This bill appropriates $30,321,000 in Capital Construction funding for hazardous substance discharge and private underground storage tank remediation as dedicated by Article VIII, Section II, paragraph 6 of the State Constitution.
This bill appropriates $8,918,000 in Direct State Services funding for water resources monitoring and planning as dedicated by Article VIII, Section II, paragraph 6 of the State Constitution.
This bill de-appropriates $22,000 in Capital Construction funding for Blue Acres preservation as over-appropriated by P.L.2019, c.458.
Department of Human Services:
This bill appropriates $7,069,000 in State Aid funding from the Property Tax Relief Fund for Support of Patients in County Psychiatric Hospitals due to a higher than projected census of residents and an increase in the share of State-funded residents.
This bill appropriates $7,500,000 in Direct State Services funding from the General Fund for the Alcohol Treatment Fund Program due to lower than anticipated revenue collections in the Motor Vehicle Surcharges Revenue Fund.
Interdepartmental Accounts:
This bill appropriates $7,000,000 in Direct State Services funding for Existing and Anticipated Leases to pay for property rental obligations.
