      The Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism and Historic Preservation Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 1969.

      This bill amends existing law to permit minors between the ages of 16 and 18 to be employed as election workers between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. on a day that an election is held.

Assembly Bill No. 1969 is identical to Senate Bill No. 138 (1R) of the 2022-2023 session.
